Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Video-Pin ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what little data we touch when you use video-pin.com.
1. What we don't collect
- We don't require accounts. There is nothing to sign up for.
- We don't store the Pinterest URLs you paste, the videos you download, or any thumbnails.
- We don't sell or share personal data with third parties.
2. What we do collect
Like nearly every website, our server keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp, page requested). These are retained briefly for abuse-prevention and rotated regularly.
3. Cookies
Video-Pin itself sets no cookies. If we display ads to keep the lights on, ad networks may set their own cookies — you can manage these through your browser settings.
4. How downloads work
When you submit a Pinterest URL, our server fetches the Pin's public HTML, extracts the video file location, and streams that file to your browser. The video is not stored on our server — it passes through.
5. Third-party content
The videos you download originate on Pinterest's CDN. Pinterest's own privacy policy governs any data they collect on their end.
6. Children
Video-Pin is intended for users 13 and older.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when we do.
